User Privacy Choices

SeeSi provides in-app controls that let you manage your data, what is shared, and who can open the app.
In-app privacy controls
Open Settings in the app to find these options.
Share anonymous statistics
Menu path: Settings → Privacy → Share anonymous statistics
What this does
- Turns app analytics on or off.
- Analytics is off until you turn it on. You are asked once when you first open the app, and you can change your answer here at any time.
What is sent when it is on
- Which screens are opened and which features are used — for example, that a questionnaire was completed.
What is never sent
- Names, photos, or anything else you typed.
- Your questionnaire answers or the results calculated from them.
- Any information about the people you added.
Please note
- Crash diagnostics work separately from this switch and stay active. A crash report describes the failure, the device model, and the operating system version. It contains none of your content.
App Lock
Menu path: Settings → Security → App Lock
What this does
- Protects access to the app with a PIN code, so the content stays private if someone else picks up your device.
- Change PIN replaces the current code.
- Turning App Lock off removes the PIN from this device. You will need to set a new one if you turn it back on.
Reset local data
Menu path: Settings → Data → Reset local data
What this does
- Removes locally stored app data on this device: your profile, the people you added, their photos, your answers, and calculated results.
What this does not do
- It does not delete your account.
Delete account
Menu path: Settings → Account → Delete account
What this does
- Permanently deletes your SeeSi account and account access data stored on our servers.
- Removes locally stored app data on this device: your profile, the people you added, their photos, your answers, and calculated results.
- Removes the App Lock PIN from this device.
- Signs you out.
Please note
- If you last signed in a while ago, you will be asked to sign in once more before the account can be deleted. This confirms it is really you.
- If deletion does not go through, nothing is removed — your account and your data stay as they were.
- This action cannot be undone.
Log out
Menu path: Settings → Account → Log out
Logging out signs you out of SeeSi on this device. It does not delete your account or your data.
